- BackStreet Offline Browser is a high-speed, multi-threading website download and viewing program. By making multiple simultaneous server requests, BackStreet can quickly download an entire website, or section of a site, and saves all the files in your hard drive, either in their native format, or as a compressed ZIP file and view off-line at your own pace without being connected to the Internet.
- BackStreet Browser gives us the opportunity to download any specified website to our hard disc. Then, we can go offline, and view it in our computer with its internal browser. It is also possible to export it to any removable device and browse it in another computer without an Internet connection. From the Main Window, we can input project properties, such as URL address from where we would like to download the content, write a title, and select the location for our downloaded file. It is also possible to check for updates, choose convert links, set up file filter, URL filter, connection and other options, i.e., folder structure, starting HTML page, loading timeout, retries, pause, copy to another folder, etc. There is a help guide available from the Main Menu. It runs under Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, and XP operating systems.
